YES-IES Program (Integrated Employment Service)

IES is a free program that helps find and keep jobs. The YES approach empowers participants and provides access to a wide range of employment services that lead to long-term employment.

YES are the ‘Champions of Employment’ and change lives…forever.
Free IES Program Services for job seekers include:

• One-on-One Career Counselling
• Assessment of Skills, Interests and abilities
• Career Planning and Exploration
• Resume-building, Cover Letter Writing and Interview Skills
• Information on possible careers, occupations and employment opportunities
• Job Search Tips and Techniques
• Job Interview Practice
• Employment Retention Support
• One-on-One and Group Training Sessions for Career and Skills Development

Assisted Service and Employer Training Subsidies
YES can also offer additional personal assistance or support if required, depending on the employment needs and career goals of clients.  YES clients may be eligible for on-the-job training and/or work experience support.

Unassisted Services
YES clients who do not require assisted services still benefit from a range of free services including:  Career Counselors and Job Developers to assist in job search strategies

• Individual help with resumes and cover letters
• Interview prep
• Access to YES job board with full and part-time postings, as well as volunteer opportunities, career information, training opportunities, and local labour market information.
• YES resource centres include free use of computers with Internet access, Wi-Fi, and phones
