Position Overview:

The Operations & Events Coordinator will play a key role in the daily operations and event execution at Youthful Vengeance, a dynamic arts and community space. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about event coordination, nonprofit arts programming, and supporting emerging artists. The role focuses on managing logistics, assisting with exhibitions and events, and ensuring smooth operations to create an accessible and engaging space for artists and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Event & Program Coordination

• Assist in the planning and execution of exhibitions, workshops, and community events.

•Support Weeks of Vengeance programming, coordinating artist logistics and event setup.

• Manage event timelines, space usage, and equipment needs to ensure smooth operations.

•Liaise with artists, curators, and volunteers to ensure proper event flow and engagement.

🔹 Venue & Operations Management

•Oversee scheduling and venue logistics, ensuring the space is prepared for exhibitions and events.

• Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and marketing materials for programs.

•Handle basic administrative tasks such as emails, booking confirmations, and documentation.

•Ensure the space remains organized, welcoming, and operationally efficient for artists and visitors.

🔹 Community & Nonprofit Support

•Assist with outreach and engagement efforts, helping connect local artists and community partners.

• Support volunteer coordination and recruitment for events and programs.

•Contribute to social media updates and promotional efforts for exhibitions and fundraisers.

• Help track attendance, artist participation, and program impact to support nonprofit reporting.

Qualifications:

•Strong organizational and multitasking skills, especially in event logistics.

•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced arts environment.

• Interest in nonprofit arts programs, community-building, and event execution.

• Basic knowledge of event planning, venue operations, or digital marketing is a plus.
