We are currently looking for a hardworking, charismatic individual to join our team as a Material Coordinator at our Belleville, Ontario location.
Shift: Monday to Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Wage: $25.96

Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee operational logistics of supply-chain work units or departments.
- Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner.
- Communicate regularly with other production coordinators, warehouse, production, and construction supervisors and purchasing and inventory clerks to coordinate activities between warehouses, production floors, construction sites or other supply chain work units or departments.
- Maintains inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production.
- Prepare and maintain various reports on the progress of work, materials used, rates of production and other production information, using manual or computerized systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers by phone or walk-ins.
- Ask questions in order to determine customers needs, advise and offer solutions adapted to their needs.
- Establish a climate of trust with the client in order to promote products, services and client retention.
- Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient customer service.
- Provide a unique experience through the quality of your service delivery.
- Act as an expert on our products and services.
- Assemble industrial & hydraulic hoses per customer specifications.
- Source part, stock, order, ship and receive merchandise.
- Maintain or assist with maintaining inventory controls.
- Find ways to increase quality of customer service.
- Support a positive work environment and culture.
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment.
- Follow all procedures and safety protocol.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the hydraulic and industrial hose industry or similar role.
- Adept with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP and CRM platforms.
- Knowledge and experience with hydraulic systems and hydraulic hoses would be considered an asset.
- Experience with inventory controls, such as, maintaining inventory levels and organizing stock.
- Problem-solving abilities that adapt to a variety of situations.
- Excellent communication skills, knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
- Ability to receive and process cash, check and charge/credit payments.
- Experience in promoting and selling products.
- Solid mechanical aptitude, experience with saws, crimpers, and other hand tools.
- Physical stamina and dexterity for type of work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Able to work on a team but be self-motivated and independent at times.
