About the Role

We are seeking a Grant Writer to support funding efforts for both nonprofit and for-profit initiatives focused on arts, culture, and community development. The ideal candidate will have experience securing grants, sponsorships, and funding opportunities for creative organizations, artist-led programs, and community-driven projects.

This role requires a strong storyteller, researcher, and strategist who can craft compelling grant proposals and funding applications that align with the missions of multiple initiatives.

Job Overview

The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals and sponsorship applications to support various programs, projects, and operational needs. They will work closely with leadership to identify funding opportunities across the nonprofit and creative sectors.

Key Responsibilities

✍ Grant Research & Writing:

•Research funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government programs.

•Write and submit persuasive, well-structured grant proposals tailored to specific funding guidelines.

•Maintain a grant calendar to track deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements.

đź“‘ Proposal & Report Management:

• Develop clear and compelling funding proposals, LOIs, and sponsorship decks.

•Ensure all applications and reports align with funder expectations and program impact goals.

•Track and document grant progress, impact metrics, and funding deliverables.

🤝 Fundraising & Relationship Building:

• Collaborate with leadership to align funding strategies with organizational goals.

• Build and maintain relationships with funders, sponsors, and grant officers.

•Identify alternative revenue streams including corporate sponsorships and government funding.

Qualifications & Skills

âś… Proven experience writing successful grants for arts, culture, nonprofit, or creative businesses.

✅ Strong research and analytical skills – ability to identify relevant funding sources.

✅ Exceptional writing and storytelling ability – able to craft compelling proposals that resonate with funders.

✅ Highly organized and deadline-driven – able to manage multiple applications at once.
