Important Update Regarding YES Programs & Services

News

YES, as Canada’s leader in youth employment Services, is proud of its record of helping hundreds of thousands of youth gain employment and change lives. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, YES has put into place its business continuity plan, as requested by the Government of Ontario, which stated: “The work we do impacts the livelihood of many of our clients—and Ontario’s economy. That is why service continuity is important.” (David Carter-Whitney, Assistant Deputy Minister Employment and Training Division).

It is the expectation of the Government for service providers to operate in the most prudent manner and follow all the recommendations and health and safety guidelines, while still servicing Ontarians in need, especially our most vulnerable youth who might be seeking counseling, training and employment. As of March 24th until further notice, YES office locations will be closed to in-person appointments, however YES staff will continue to fully provide as much employment services as it can through, phone, virtual, on-line and remote counseling, training and more.
