Position: Bookkeeper
Location: 9-377 Burnhamthorpe Road East, Mississauga, ON L5A 3Y1
Salary: $25.00 per hour
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 36-40 Hours/Week
Start date: As soon as possible
Employment conditions: Day; overtime; Willing to relocate; Employer doesn’t cover the relocation costs; Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: Experience an asset
Job Responsibilities
Tasks: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll; Calculate fixed assets and depreciation; Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems; Maintain general ledgers and financial statements; Post journal entries; Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports; Prepare tax returns; Prepare trial balance of books; Reconcile accounts.
Experience and specialization
Computer and technology knowledge: Accounting software; Human resources software; MS Excel; MS Outlook; MS Windows; MS Word; Quick Books; Simply Accounting; Spreadsheet.
Equipment and machinery experience: Scanner
Area of specialization: Accounting

Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: On-site customer service; Urban area; Relocation costs not covered by employer; Willing to relocate.
